Condensate pots

Application

Condensate pots (or equalizing pots) are used in steam applications to keep the condensate columns in the pressure measuring lines constant. In the event of load fluctuations and the associated shift in the contents of the measuring line, excess condensate can flow back into the main line or missing condensate can quickly form again in the pots.

They are welded together from hot-pressed hemispherical bases according to DIN 19211, with two connecting pieces offset by 90°. Depending on the operating conditions, the materials are mainly P265 GH (plate H II), stainless steel or high-temperature structural steel such as 13CrMo44 and 10CrMo910.
