Application

Thermometer protection tubes are used for the safe installation of temperature sensors in pipelines. They prevent direct contact between the sensor and the process medium and are therefore preferred for aggressive media and high dynamic loads. In addition, they offer the option of removing the temperature sensor for maintenance purposes while the process is running.

In the case of differential pressure sensors with attached inlet and outlet pipe sections, these are often used to measure the temperature in the outlet pipe. Constructively, the protective sleeves are distinguished by the way they are attached to the pipeline. In addition, different mounting types can be selected for the temperature sensor.
