This year marked an impressive anniversary for Dosch Messapparate: 90 years of outstanding performance, commitment and quality. This milestone would not have been possible without our employees and without the trust of our customers. Many thanks for this! Our thanks also go to the people who have led Dosch over the years. Let’s take a little trip back in time:
The beginning
In 1933 Adolf Dosch founded Dosch Messapparate GmbH. During the war, we were confronted with challenges when firebombs hit our building. The family and dedicated employees were able to extinguish the fires and save part of the building. Although there were repairs, the production was able to continue.
In the post-war period, Dosch was represented in the second generation by Reinhold Dosch and his wife Edda. Dosch became the leading contact for measuring devices in the fields of pressure, temperature and flow in the West Berlin industry. In 1979, the production of differential pressure transducers began, which established themselves as the company’s most important products.
The foundation for further success was laid when Martin Dosch joined the company in 1979 as the third generation. He became managing director in 1988. ISO 9000 certification in 1997 underlined our commitment to the highest quality standards.
The 2000s
From 2003, we expanded our product range to include mechanical control switches for flow, level and pressure. These were marketed under the renowned brand name “EARL” of the former Laaser company, which also existed after our takeover. Barbara, Martin Dosch’s wife, also joined the company in 2003.
Dosch today
2016 saw another milestone with the arrival of Sven Dosch. As part of the fourth generation, Sven Dosch is still the second managing director alongside his father.
Together, challenges have been overcome, business relationships driven forward, quality and service lived and history written. We look forward to the next 90 years of Dosch – full of further successes and partnerships!
